Google has completed its $2.1 billion acquisition of Fitbit, the company announced today. The news follows the EU’s announcement late last year that it had approved the deal, after Google made a series of commitments about its planned operation of Fitbit and use of the its health data.

Exactly. They want the data and to track your location. FitBit is irrelevant in terms of the market and as a business.
$45 a share is down to $7. The only reason for wanting them is for the previous owners that still wear them.

Google says they don't want it for the privacy invasion on your health.

It's for "marketing" lol.

It is all the same thing now, Private Data selling is Marketing!

And Google is clear they are an International Company with no legal or moral concerns with privacy that we find in old Republics like the United States!

I got the email from Fitbit this morning. They claim Google won't add the Fitbit data to their marketing stuff. We'll see.
