EU Plans to Lessen Reliance on Dollar, Boost Euro to Blunt Financial Risks

The EU launched a long-term plan back in 2018 for the wider use of the euro in the global economy to "better protect citizens and companies against external shocks", rendering the international finance and monetary system more resilient. The European Union is pushing ahead with a detailed plan, seeking to shield the bloc from potential currency shocks by lessening the US dollar’s dominance, writes Bloomberg. The strategy, laid out in a draft proposal, hinges on boosting the international role of the euro, while chipping away at reliance on the US dollar. The move is seen as potentially beneficial for cushioning the impact of a fallout from financial risks, including lessening the European bloc’s vulnerability to US sanctions........https://sputniknews.com/business/202...-us-sanctions/

The EU started to bolster its bond market in the last few years so they could do this.

The plan to foster “openness, strength and resilience,” was earlier reported by the Financial Times......snip~

They wont need to do much. Dementia Joe and the Deviates will weaken the US dollar. Plenty of printing more paper will be a 24hr endeavor 365.

That's probably a good choice for the EU based on the fool we put in the White House.
Inflation is coming to the USA.

As they say in the media Joe to pass $15 an hour minimum wage.

CBO says it will cost 1.8 million jobs

Who do they think are going to lose those jobs other than minimum wage workers?

Don' worry. Illegal immigrants are coming and businesses will hire them because the alternative is to shut down. So just pay the fine. US workers are avoiding work now till September anyways due to government cash.

I think the best investment will be to buy against the US Dollar.

One could throw down on an "inter-commodity" spread by going long the EURO and short the USD.
Low margin , not a lot of risk and at some point possibly make a little change from it.

We all noticed. We know why he could not shut down the government went Pelosi and Schumer demanded he match military spending with social spending despite not even knowing what they were going to do with it. The biased media was ready to blame Republicans of the shutdown and Republicans in Congress have no backbone.
