Looks rather quiet and peaceful to me, and I wonder what all this security panic has cost, but oh well….
The thing is Conservatives learn from mistakes. They learned that the Capital Incident was an invitation for the fringe elements to take over and make everybody look bad. And that gave the left smear merchants a chance to falsely paint everybody with a broad brush. So we accept what happened as wrong and we move on.
The progressives are the exact opposite. First they deny months of BLM/ANITFA violence even happened. Then they justify that it was a result of racial injustice and President Trump. And so it continues without end as legitimate expression in the left media and among many Democrats. No need to denounce or apologize for anything. Plenty of selective left biased news to make them feel comfortable.
And that brings me to the subject of this Forum:
I have been in such a place during a heated Presidential Party transition before. And what I learned then I am already seeing even before Biden took Office. As a member here already noted some people can “dish it out, but can’t take it.”
I watched the very same people who trashed George W Bush relentlessly suddenly get all sensitive about Obama and the need for “Unity” and stamping out the hurtful opposition.
I am not saying this will happen here or become a problem in a place that is not heavy moderated, but I will point this out when I see it.
Whatever names you want to call us I know many are not going anywhere, and we will be as critical of Biden/Harris as we please.
