Trump drained the swamp

Trump promised to drain the swamp. And he kept the promise.

Shortly after taking office Trump sign his "drain the swamp" executive order which created a 5 year ban on government employees returning to their department as lobbyists after leaving their job.

Just a few hours before leaving office Trump rescinded that order. why?

Promises made, promises...weaselled out of.

Today President Joe reinstated the ban.

Just wanted to put this out there.

Probably because of the cancel culture of the left trying to ban any Trump team members from getting jobs in the private sector.

I don't think you ignore that action. I just saw where the publishers are trying to block their companies from printing any books from the Trump team.

We are going to end up with two different countries because of the lefts cancel culture. Our team is not going to buy from Amazon, use the left's social media sites, buy Simon and Schuster books... because we also may be targeted by them. That is unless they openly reject the cancel culture.

I am not sure how you managed to link this with cancel culture. Are you saying that Trump wanted to make up for lost job opportunities by bringing back the swamp on his way out the door? He favored his friends over the good of the country?

If they locked the revolving door between influential government appointments and Goldman Sachs , it would blow to the swamp .
