The last movie I saw in a theater was Castaway. I can time that at over 21 years ago because it was on my birthday.

As we discussed a few weeks ago, brick and mortar movie theaters have been on their way out for quite some time - the Zombie Apocalypse just accelerated the process. With all the streaming services and cable pay networks either partnering with big studio production companies or creating original content, walk-in theaters are going to be going the way of the drive-in. The new Wonder Woman movie will be debuting in theaters soon and popping up on (I think it's) HBOMax on the same day.

The New Wonder woman movie is already out and on HBOMAX. Btw Linda Carter makes a showing in it at the end of the movie.

Me too. I went to see a movie a few years ago. I don’t remember what it was.

I wasn't aware it had landed. Well I know what I'll be doing later today.

Nice that they gave Linda Carter a cameo - I like to see filmmakers do that sort of thing. Noel Neill, who played Lois Lane in the Superman serials of the '40s and '50s, and then again in the t.v. series, had a small part in almost every t.v. and movie Superman project for the next sixty years.

My brother is an over the road trucker.....when he came home for Christmas we watched the New Wonder Woman on HBOMax. The other Star of the movie is the actor who stars as the Mandalorian. Also in the Kingsmen and Game of Thrones. Pedro Pascal.

It wasnt all that great. Not as good as the first or Justice League. 1-10. I would say a 5. Of course Gal Gadot is gorgeous. She was good in the Fast and Furious Movies too.

I predict the next trend will be very large screen TV sets, with screens filling an entire wall. Sound systems will improve to the point you will have theater quality speakers. Homes will become movie theaters and you can rent whatever you want. Its already that way except for the screen size.

Make your own popcorn, pour your own drinks, sit back and enjoy a movie without someone kicking you in the back or having running commentary with someone on a cell phone
