If you are not a thinker (Biden) then you know we can run on the wells we currently have for many years. If you are a thinker (Trump) then you are thinking about 2030 and having enough crude to make our chemicals and fuels that are needed.

Natural Gas is also the cleanest and easiest way to deliver energy through are already existing pipelines. Natural Gas make 60% of our electricity already.
We have no way to replace natural gas. Natural gas does not care what the weather is like or what time of day it is.
China is very happy that they have discovered new NG fields and they fully intend to use it for low cost and cleaner energy.

Oil futures speculators drive up the cost of oil if there is ANY hiccup in the supply. Hurricane Katrina destroyed a few oil derricks in the Gulf and gasoline went through the roof, briefly. Every time there is a hiccup in the Strait of Hormuz, oil prices go up and gasoline prices skyrocket.

Adolf Biehdhen, the unelected Fuhrer has done a MAJOR hit on the supply of oil with the canceling of the Keystone Pipeline and banning fracking, (something that lying son of a $#@! NAZI said he wouldn't do during the campaign.)

President Trump made America energy independent with his policies.
