Mitch just won reelection so he might be toast but the toaster is not plugged in at the moment. He is another example of why we need term limits and the establishment have to go.

He's probably just saying what he's been told to say. That's how most of Congress operates. They are beholden to special interests. Most of this country's special interests are globalist and wanted Trump out.

Now that Biden is in, we may see certain politicians try to emulate Trump's brand of populism, but follow the money. If the candidate gets a lot of funds from multinational corporations or PACs with globalist interests, then the populism is fake.
