Yeah, it was a rhetorical question. I was a VIP along with you when the entire Russian "collusion" hoax began. I distinctly remember you running interference for members like del and Bethere who had a habit of falsely and maliciously accusing other members, myself included, of being "Putin puppets" or some other McCarthyite variation. In real life, accusing a marine veteran of being disloyal to the country gets you punched in the mouth, but I've found that "liberals" tend to be much tougher on the internet than in real life. In any case, your outrage and standards are clearly applied selectively, based on nothing more than pure hatred for Trump. You regularly complain about the behavior of conservatives while giving liberals a pass who engage in the exact same behavior. You can sit there and pretend like the Russian "collusion" hoax was even remotely legitimate if you want, but it's been thoroughly debunked and disproven by journalists and analysts across the entire political spectrum. In fact, the journalists who did the most to debunk the malicious, fraudulent Russian "collusion" narrative were liberals like Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Aaron Mate, Robert Parry (RIP), and others. That's why you all stopped talking about it after the Mueller investigation came up with nothing to substantiate the wild-ass theories about Trump.
Power always thinks it has a great soul, and vast views, beyond the comprehension of the weak. And that it is doing God service when it is violating all His laws.

While I have certainly berated other members for their unquestioning and highly imaginative apologies for Trump's words and behavior, I'm pretty sure I've never accused them of being "disloyal to the country". On the other hand, I've frequently been accused of being a traitor and worse for not joining the Trump personality cult. Just the other day I pointed out that some who, like myself, hold some views generally considered to be "liberal" are veterans or retirees from the Service, and I was immediately insulted and dismissed.

Not in that particular thread, no - I didn't claim that. However in countless other threads I and others who've served the nation in uniform have been insulted and called traitors or worse simply for not supporting Trump. The name-calling on this board has reached the point where I don't even want to attempt to discuss politics any more; it's a complete waste of my time. Contradict 80-90 percent of the self-described conservative members about virtually anything and you don't get a civil, rational response in return - you get insulted, often in terms that a ten-year-old would (or should) be embarrassed to use. And you get accused of supporting and advocating for things that you never have and never will. How is that a "discussion forum"?
