How much tax payers money is going to be spent on this

Trump impeachment trial??? I have seen the figure of 1.4 million it costs per day for the Congress to be in session. Say it is only half that for the Senate...and the House has already spent how many days? Say all together they will have spent even 2 weeks...that is over 10 million spent on what all are saying will not end in the Senate voting to impeach. Yesterday, even Biden said the Dems did not have enough votes to impeach...but on they go.

when and who decides the nation can afford to throw money on a dead horse???

I hear they are paying for it with the Manafort fines.

It should be paid with the savings from presidential golf trips.

That's the least thing to be concerned with on this huge abuse of authority.

The cost mentioned in the OP is chump change compared to the $4-5 million a day in lost wages from the Keystone Pipeline.

The money to fund congress is a fixed cost, it doesn't matter what they are doing. They could be debating the Trump impeachment, immigration reform or playing checkers on the house and Senate floor. I guess you have nothing else to complain about. No rants about the stolen election or missives about how God wanted Trump to be President or how the evil democrats are going to turn the good old USA into cold war East Germany?

It will cost less than the cost of investigation the Trump / Collusion hoax. The libs had no issue with that waste of money.
