I most likely have relatives in Kentucky on mothers side although I lost track..............

My great grandmother was from Louisville and I met a few traveling cousins as a kid.

    Welcome!

I guess it was the show that caused Timothy Olyphant's career to really take off, and got him the lead in 'Justified'.

I just now got through with Season 2 (of 6) of 'The Shield'. Kurt Sutter, the creator of 'Sons of Anarchy', was one of the principal writers on that show, and he managed to use pretty much all the major actors, to one degree or another, in 'Sons' and/or 'Mayans'. I don't think Sutter was connected with 'Deadwood', but several of the actors from that show ended up on 'Sons of Anarchy' as well - most notably Dayton Callie ("Charlie Utter") who became Police Chief Wayne Unser on 'Sons", Robin Weigert, who went from being the explosive and perpetually drunk Calamity Jane to soft-spoken attorney Ally Lowen, and Ray McKinnon, who was the epileptic Reverend in 'Deadwood' and became Deputy U.S. Attorney Lincoln Potter on 'Sons' and 'Mayans'. Versatile actors all.
The Shield was great. Didn't see any of those others.

I watched all of the series to its conclusion of “Mad Men” it was pretty good. To be a Don Draper you have to be a pretty detached singular individual, his womanising were dalliances, he had no concept of loyalty nor normality.

Probably because the show sucked. It glamorized a bunch of minor league biker punks who all had their heads shoved so far up their asses none of them had seen daylight in years. My wife liked the show, so I was often subjected to it and every time I watched it, it was like "All of these idiots need to die". I felt the same way about Breaking Bad.
