It may be a regional thing... more an "Old South" phrase. I first picked it up at the North Carolina Justice Academy back in the 80s and it just kind of stuck with me and I have been using it to describe a legal, justified shooting ever since.

It all depends on who kills them . If BLM riots kill them it's all good they were evil racist anyway. If trump supporters were involved then the DNC "cares". Either way all of these events are tragedies to me.
