What's the difference between the hundreds of riots this summer and the Capitol Storm

The only menaingful difference is who is affected by, scared by and in danger from the riot.

The message could not be more clear. For politicial gain the inner city neighborhoods were an acceptible loss , the families there could live in fear and danger on a nightly basis and no attempt to stop the riots were made, ground was conceded and political points made.We couldn't use the gaurd in our cities! Even then when just simple vandalism reached the Mayor's neighborhood the evil police were called. They didn't care when a repub sitting US Senator was accousted by an angry mob and many of them encourgared and enabled violence . As long as said violence "stayed in it's place" And oh yeah they want to take guns away from private citizens who would then be even more unable to protect themselves.

Then one riot came to their door and it was suddenly very, very, very different! More cops, protecting them with guns, National gard in the streets an expensive and doomed impeachment attempt born out of a belief that simiply challenging the election results = inciting violence. They were protected with cops and gaurd and of course guns!

To recap: The dems approach to riots

Inner City :Encouraged violence, gave ground, ridiculed police, threatened to defund them and refused to use troops whom could have ended the riots, plus little attempt to track down rioters.

Their Door: CALL the very police they threatened to defend , bring in the troops, and of course they can be protected with guns, ;lots of em and round up suspects ASAP

well, to be honest, the Capitol peace march has ended, but the riots across the country continue...........
Democrats can't even say "no" to themselves, ergo, the riots shall continue or maybe even increase now that Trump was acquitted.

The primary difference is that BLM protests have not been politically motivated. Their charges of systemic racism do not target any particular party, nor even any particular level of government, though if any levels of government are implicated, they would be local and then state governments, in that order. BLM protests are focused on the social attitudes that continue to permit an unwritten double standard in policing and criminal justice, among other things. BLM is a civil rights movement not a partisan political dispute. The protests have attracted parasitic gadflies from both extremes of the political spectrum who require a host to attach themselves to in order to engage one another in conflict, and cause mayhem, as well as opportunistic criminals who use the protests as cover for their crimes.

The "Capitol Storm" on the other hand was about pure partisan politics and the influence of a populist President who advanced conspiracy theory to enrage his supporters on falsely patriotic grounds.
In quoting my post, you affirm and agree that you have not been goaded, provoked, emotionally manipulated or otherwise coerced into responding.

BLM has its roots in Marxism. Granted many of its members don't care about that. I think some of the local organizations are doing good.

But not the looters, rioters, and leadership.

One other thing. The Capitol Riot was aimed at halting and preventing an official process by the U.S. government - the certification of the electoral votes that had been cast. The rioters weren't just intent on taking over a city block or a particular street or part of town; they were there to shut down a vital and required action by the Congress...to in effect take over the government by force of arms.
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.” - Robert E. Howard

Except they didn't have arms. And most there were just spectators. Someone there who was there to cause violence was John Sullivan- antif/blm crap-head.
