Minneapolis City Council Votes To Spend $6.4 Million To ‘Recruit More Police’...

...Only Two Months After Defunding Police By $8 Million

The City of Minneapolis is set to spend $6.4 million to hire dozens of police officers as some City Council members and activists work to replace the department.

“The council voted unanimously on Friday to approve the additional funding, which was requested by police. The department says it only has 638 officers available to work, roughly 200 fewer than usual,” the Associated Press reported.

In December, the city council voted to cut $8 million from the police budget, as previously reported by 100% FED Up.

“This move came just months after the council pledged to abolish the police department altogether,” the article continued:

Defunding the police was a mantra spouted by control freaks and wannabe SJW to appeal to only to absolute moron/robot followers. Who really wants no police? CRIMINALS! One city, I forget which, proposed moving 9/11 and parking cops out of the police budget INTO another budget ( no doubt costing money) in order to falsely claim they had defunded the police! Complete useless pandering!
I'm usually pretty tolerant but I don't think I could respect anyone who bought defunding as anything but a disadsterous pandering tool! How can anyone be that dumb????

I think you have to also be wary as the Soros group is funding a massive campaign to eliminate the police department.

"In mid-November, the Open Society Policy Center based in Washington, D.C., donated $500,000 to a new political committee, Vote Yes For Minneapolis, that wants to eliminate the city's requirement to have a Police Department. The donation, first reported by the newsletter MPLS take and the Minnesota Reformer, was included in a campaign finance report filed late last month."

I don't understand these people, frankly. We have a deep understanding of what happens without the presence of law enforcement. Personally, I say: "Go for it". It'll be Mogadishu soon enough and we can dispense with this nonsense. Don't get me wrong - if there's misconduct (and there is), let's deal with it; but to eliminate the police department will only hurt our most vulnerable in society.
Any time you give a man something he doesn't earn, you cheapen him. Our kids earn what they get, and that includes respect. -- Woody Hayes
