    I do know the odds.

For that reason I often stack
Them in my favor. I employ a synthetic neutral in metals and some ag products , namely cotton, rice and gold using derivatives

In that manner the person on the other side of the trade has to beat me on price, time, strike, volatility and then take my money.

They simply cannot do it very often. They are "gamblers". I use their greed, inexperience an greed against them

I'm a professional , they are not. Just the idea some of these people come in off the street thinking they can beat us at our own game , on our playing field, with our experience, research and in some cases basically unlimited capital irritates me.

Example: if you and I went head to head I'd clean you out in one day
    I'm yo.
    This my brother yo
    We yo yo

Cotton, I was going to thank you for all this. Then I thought the FBI would come to the door asking me if I knew you.

    Hi again.

Well, not quite. If I go to a gambling casino and decide to play, say, roulette, I do so knowing precisely the odds against winning that I'm facing. In the US, with both O and OO, it's somewhere north of 6%. In Europe, with just O, it's more than 3%.

Not so with stocks. All I have to guide me is my own research and the opinions of 'experts'. I've used quotes because of one nagging question: if the experts are experts, why haven't they already made their millions [Ed.: or billions,] and retired? Why are they still working, trying to get me to pay them for 'advice'?

I've always found solace in recreational mathematics, btw. It provides a sometimes needed respite from the complications and uncertainties of the real world.

    Regards, stay safe 'n well.
