Yes, Nazis were, as nationalists, right-wing socialists, opposed to communists, as globalists, left-wing socialists.

That changed over time as Nazis adopted fascism and aimed for global power. But fascism is neither left- nor right-wing, and globalism is not right-wing at all.

Yes, they described themselves as the Third Way. Mussolini for instance was a communist, switched to socialism with an anti-international flavor because of his WWI experiences and that developed into fascism.

Exactly, and that's what makes blanket statements about left and right so difficult. About the only safe claim is that Marx and Mussolini and others like them rejected modern democratic, capitalist liberalism.
