    Instead of raising taxes and killing off people's 401s why doesn't the government do what we all have to do and spend responsibly?

    Joke Biten now doesn't favor a wealth tax? Has that not been his entire 'stick' until now...make the rich pay. Oh wait, that is who got him elected. Next, watch ly'in Biten start bringing his income level down for increased federal tax rates.

    Actually, I seem to be alone on the stance that we should worry about our debt and both higher taxes and less spending is needed in order to address that problem. See, I actually care about the future of this country, not just my pockets.

    Unfortunately no one seems to actually want to do that... The last time when someone tried was Obama, when he agreed on that deal with Boehner but Boehner backed out because his base threw a fit for coming to a compromise with Obama.
