    True but, interests were tied up anyway. You'd think that the huge balloon that is our deficit would be a more urgent issue to take care of?

    The thing about division is that it kind of force them to actually come up with a solutions that addresses need of both sides. It's not perfect but that's life.

    Some of the revenue came from the tariffs but those costs are passed down to the consumer. It would have been a bigger gap had it not been for tariffs.
