Democrats appear to hate small businesses.
That seems clear given their emergency orders over the past year, which have punished small businesses while huge corporations such as Amazon, Target, Kohl’s McDonalds and others thrive.
If you listen to what they say and follow what they do, this should become rather obvious.
On Sunday, Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna (CA), a multi-millionaire by the way, told Abby Phillip on CNN’s “Inside Politics” that “we don’t want low wage businesses” when asked about the proposal for a $15 federal minimum wage.
Phillip was questioning Khanna about the proposal and noted that currently both large and small businesses (except the aforementioned) are struggling in the current economy, slammed by the coronavirus pandemic.
She reminded Khanna that more than 9 million jobs have been lost in the past year and said that of those businesses which would be required to pay $15 an hour, most were in retail and food service.
