    It's a shame. I like a lot of his music from when I was a kid. He was huge in the 80s and his albums from the 70s are good too. I guess he was always political but it more subdued back then. There came a point when he thought he was Woody Guthrie or Bob Dylan.

    I always thought of him as a musician the music industry picked. Like the Monkees.

    Racism tolerated. Racial slurs toward African-Americans common. Some WASP students joke that I am going to be in Hell because I am Jewish.

    I did not fight with anyone -- I was the class clown, not a fighter.
