Below is an article discussing Sir Graham Brady's ( important conservative leader in GB and 1922 committee leader)comments including "The British government should never again be allowed to impose similar restrictions on Civil Rights" refferring of course to COVID lockdowns. This was after a slow plan towards nomalization was put forth by the government.
Does the mere serious political discussion of preventing further tyranny signal that UK is freer than their former colony? What of Sweden which resisted lockdowns and still fared better than we did despite our civil rights abuses in 2020/2021. Our "two years to flatten the curve"
Does anything set us apart from other western forms of governement anymore? Is exceptionalism dead? If our Constitution can be ignored or circumvented to this extent how do our remaining liberties stack up againt the rest of the west.
