Shark movies . Did you ever notice ?

There must be thousands of scary shark movies. Besides being terrorized by a shark these are other things many of the movies have in common.

#1. Someone usually gets eaten right off the bat. A surfer , scientist etc

#2. There is always at least one person who scoffs at the others.
That person generally gets eaten

#3. There is usually a point where one of the people that get eaten was done by the shark, amazingly for the greater good lol

#4. Couples never get eaten together. One usually survives the entire movie

#5. There is always one person everyone thinks is dead but he's not.

#6. There are usually only two people left in the end.

#7. One of them is referred to in #6. Hahahaha

Hold on. Regarding #2, the Mayor of Amity scoffed but he never went near the water. They don't tell you but he was probably a Democrat.

True story of Jaws!

Well before CGI they used a mechanical shark mixed with real underwater shark footage. Only the damn thing hardly ever performed as planned so they did a lot of dark watery scenes where you can't see much. That became the scariest part of the film!

One time it did work was the famous "Your gonna need a bigger Boat" scene!

Also , "we're gonna need a bigger boat " was not in the script. Roy Schneider added it.

I believe you are wrong on #1. It was always a pretty girl being eaten to start off.
