Not positive, but this looks like a small bobcat, actually looks more like a linx, but I don't think we have linx here. The pic is blurry, but that foreleg looks too thick to be a domestic cat.

You have very nice trail cams, some I've seen, come out grainy and blurry.

Thanks. You can set the resolution, and I do get a lot of grainy and blurry shots in low light, or when they're fast moving critters. Some of those are actually pretty cool, a blur of tan and white, lol. I used to set them for video, but that really eats up memory cards and batteries. Most of the cameras take 8 AA batteries. That gets pretty expensive with 8 cameras. But the videos are pretty awesome.

On a side note, the originals are even more clear, you have to resize the images for the forum, and even then, the forum software will resize them further if they are too big.

This is a wonderful thread, that cat definitely looks like a bobcat. I seen a cat that looked just like that around here while I was out taking pictures. It definitely didn't look like a deomesticated cat. He ran over to a bush near where I was and was watching me. I figured that was my que to go.

Can you use rechargeable batteries? That might make it more cost effective.

We have quite a bit of wildlife here. I have lived here for about two years now, mostly all I ever see are deer, and racoon. But this year was different, there have been mountain lion and bear sightings in our community. I got lucky enough to see a bear for the first time. It was evening, I had the windows open and heard a loud sound outside. I looked out the window and I could see his silhouette and teeth in the porch light. He had opened our trash can and pulled a trash bag out and was working on it.

I was so excited at seeing him, I blurted out, "a bear, a bear, a bear". I scared the poor thing away. But I could still hear him out there, he was really loud. It was shocking for me to see one in person. Even though he was a smaller black bear, he seemed so powerful. He seemed pretty skilled too, the way he opened the trash can without damaging anything and just pulled the bag out, like he was a human. : )

Love this thread. Such wonderful captures.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.
