I've always assumed that over time we'd all end up the same color.

In the civil rights movements of the '60s, Martin Luther King said people should be judged by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. That's always made perfect sense to me. But the woke now find this concept offensive, they want you to see people first and foremost by their race, or else you're not "seeing" them. Yeah, no thanks. Identity politics is horribly divisive, no matter how much they want to blame it on Trump.
