    1) Not during the Pandemic.

    2) The Real World of 2021 is very different from the Real World when we were young.

The only times I've ever had cause to regret some admittedly male "tendency" were those instances where a woman told me about a problem that she had, and I had the bad judgment to actually offer a potential solution - as opposed to simply listening and empathizing. This is probably going to sound sexist, but I believe that men have evolved to instinctively pursue solutions to problems, whereas women have evolved to endlessly discuss them.

Who knows, it might even have started back when the men of the tribe were out hunting game while the women stayed back at camp hunting berries and bugs. When you've got an eight-ton mammoth charging at you, your time to make a decision about what to do is limited...whereas the edibility of a particular berry or plant might be safely discussed and argued at one's leisure and at length.

    I agree 100%.

Nevertheless, I am more sensitive to being insulted, more delicate, and more talkative then 80% of women and 99% of men.

It's "common knowledge" that women talk more than men in the course of a day, and a couple of older studies support that belief; however the preponderance of all studies on the subject now seem to indicate that the difference is actually miniscule. I once had a theory, based on that belief being true, that the men in those prehistoric times who tended toward garrulousness when the hunting party was trying to sneak up on their prey would have more than occasionally gotten a flint axe up alongside the head and would not therefore have been afforded the opportunity to pass the "talkative" gene on to his offspring.

I am also mostly talkative online.

A very interesting story about gender differences is: Here.

We had to run a mile -- a lap around some track. It was a relatively warm day in spring. In order to get an A, we had to finish the mile within a given time. The time in which we had to run a mile was determined by the students gender. I do not remember the exact times, but judging on similar times for HS students, it should have been 8 minutes for boys and 9 minutes for girls. No rule, however, is without exceptions. Given the weight of Future Cyber Citizen, he was given a longer time to walk a mile. I guess, it was about 12 min to 14 min, but I am not sure. It was still somewhat of a challenge. I ran about 200 meters, then walked about 400 meters. I ran several times and walked most of the time. I swore in Russian -- fortunately no one understood me.
Effectively, the class has been split into three groups. The lowest-status group was the one made of "Snips and snails and puppy-dogs' tails". They were given the harder task. A better group was the one made of "Sugar and spice and everything nice". They were given an easier task. The Future Cyber Citizen was a group by himself.
