Religion is emotional, not intellectual. Rejection of religion is a simple choosing to believe something other than organized dogma in favor of thinking about the universe and your place in it by yourself. Now how you call that emotional only signals ignorance of human nature.

The way I believe is, that truth cannot be grasped. Truth is what it is, before you call it something. If it is a self grasping truth, then it is already tainted with an idea of the truth, rather than the truth. "You" cannot experience truth, but when mind and ideas drop, truth is all that remains. However the moment we call it truth, it is already tainted.

What's more is that nothing is, since it only "is", if a mind were to categorize it. If a person slaps you, in that moment there is only truth, before the mind kicks in. There is just the direct experience of pain in the moment. It can be said for all moments. Fundamental reality is beyond all ideas and distinctions.
We are all brothers and sisters in humanity. We are all made from the same dust of stars. We cannot be separated because all life is interconnected.

I believe it is neither material, nor not material. It is beyond all ideas. In truth there is no such thing as material, we just call it that, as a collective idea.
