    Definitely.
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

In a previous post you said, "(likely fictional) bodybuilder...." Talk about fiction, look at the above statement (In dark print).

Did someone take a survey to find out how many vegans quit for that reason?

Actually, I reconsidered your bodybuilder story. What he was most likely trying to convey (and it was utterly lost on you) was that he eats "lots of pasta" to gain weight. To grow muscle optimally, you need to be in a calorie surplus. That's where carbs come in. You're welcome.

It's not only what I'm trying to say but what Dr. Stanford, an obesity specialist, said in the link I provided above. Did you even read it?

He said, "This idea of 'a calorie in and a calorie out' when it comes to weight loss, is not only antiquated, it's just wrong...."

"How your body burns calories depends on a number of factors, including the type of food you eat, your body's metabolism, and even the type of organisms living in your gut."

How your body burns calories is irrelevant. Protein, for example, has a higher thermic effect. All that impacts is the rate of energy output. You lose weight in a calorie deficit. That is, you have to expend more energy than you consume. It is still calories in versus calories out. Understand? Dr. Stanford is not refuting the laws of thermodynamics.

    Wow...

What You Need to Know About Lectins and Gut Health

Read about the specific foods and the proper preparation methods.
On your list of foods that are high in lectins you have wheat. That's one reason I stopped eating whole wheat bread and whole wheat pasta a few months ago. But now I have learned that whole wheat pasta does not contain lectins. So I will happily be buying it again, it really adds a lot of enjoyment to a meal.

    Here's a link to explain: https://www.google.com/search?q=Does...BDNAjoHCAAQRxC

Whole wheat does contain lectins but in whole wheat pasta they are eliminated in manufacturing and cooking.
