Watergate burglar G Gordon Liddy, who went to prison rather than testify against Nixon has died at age 90. After his release from prison he became a talk show host. One thing he said I had to totally disagree with him about. When the Unabomber's brother turned him in Liddy said the brother should never have ratted him out. Callers said but the guy was killing people and needed to be stopped. He said the police could have caught him without the brother. I don't think so. His steadfast belief that "being a snitch" was worse than being a serial murderer was bizarre in my opinion

His radio show was entertaining. I remember that he was not allowed to say the words Washington Post but cannot remember why.

Watergate was nothing compared to what the politicians in the USA get away with now.

A tarnished icon.

He used to keep a private jet at an airport just a few miles from where I lived, and even closer to where I worked. The whole building would vibrate when it fired up.

Why? What did you have against him? You have to give him credit for his steadfast refusal to implicate anyone in the White House for the break in. That wasn't the same with the other members who broke in.

Liddy has always made a big deal about him never ratting anyone out in Watergate. And considering how Left Icon John Dean made such an ass of himself (and trying to cover his own ass with lies) I get that.

But I seriously doubt that his silence made much difference or that Liddy knew anything we don't know already.

I remember his offer to meet in a local park if they were going to take him out. He did not want his family to be hurt in any manner, if they were going to hit him.

So you don't have a problem with burglary and illegal wiretaps? Isn't that one of the reasons so many people hate the FBI now....because of their illegals wiretaps on Trump and his admin?

Another Great American lost. First Rush now G. Gordon. They dont make men like that anymore. We are getting overrun by circus freaks like Rachel Levine instead.
