At some point you move enough troops, you have to use them so it doesn't look like you wasted a lot of money.

On the serious side.. we should not give two $#@!e Muslims about this. The real threat to our interest comes from the Chinese Communist Party and its build up to invade Taiwan. This threatens actual interest of the United States and this is where our focus needs to be. The CCP is evil and must be contained inside the first island chain until the oppressed people in China and the countries it occupies (Tibet, East Turkmenistan, Manchuria etc.. can be freed_

I agree. The US has no vital interest at stake in the Ukraine. They are only useful to the US as a foil to Russia. Nothing worth fighting over.
