Crypto is out of my league. I have no reason to believe it is going up. I have no reason to believe it is going down. When I by a stock it is usually because I expect them to gain market share of the market sector to grow and I do it for a fairly long term. I don't look every week.

Crypto to me is like collecting art. People do it very well investing in it but I would throw a Picasso away if I found it in my garage.

I dabble--just a little--mainly BTC, ETH, and LTC. I don't have a huge amount invested, just the money I had from not being able to take my vacation last summer, but I've almost doubled it since January when Cotton first helped me get started.

One thing I've learned is that a strong ROI is out there just ready to be made, but trading in cryptos requires frequent monitoring because they're volatile. I think knowledgeable day traders are likely the most successful.
can you believe dogecoin is 27 and litecoin 308? amazing

    I know! Crazy, right?

I dropped doge a while back thinking it'd run its course. LOL

I need to pay better attention. Hope you did well on that one!

I'm super long on XRP right now after listening to Cotton's take and doing some research. It's up big in the past couple days, but I won't sell. I'm looking for Ferrari money, not a few grand.

As for stocks, I went big during the market crash last March. Mostly tech and cannabis stocks. I also put a few hundred into a blue chip mutual fund every once in a while to maintain some diversification. My portfolio is up like 80% since then.

As for specific stock picks, I like drone stocks. I see commercial drone aviation becoming fairly ubiquitous within the next decade. One day fairly soon, you'll look up in the sky and it will be full of drones doing all sorts of things, from delivering packages to beaming wireless internet.
Have you looked at XRP this morning ? It's ticking back and forth at $1.55-56. What I believe we are seeing in cryptos is a shift to a lot of investors and specs dug in. It seems the buy volume has a greater impact because the sellers are simply not there en masse

I've been thinking for hours on what the crypto markets are telling us. It's obvious cryptos have been largely in the accumulation side of the accum / distribution line.
Lack of distribution appears to be the driving factor in trend confirmation and higher prices. I have been going most by feel and fibonacchi retracements.
I think it might be a good idea to adapt a stock market tool and study closely the A/D line and volume as prices hit pivots and fibos. If that Mark is missed by an investor it could be one ugly $#@!
