Since the world is about to end and there is no reason to pretend to save the environment by spending a few trillion dollars on anything that willnot solve any pretend crisis let's spend the money on a really big clam bake! I bet we could achieve world peace in a day or two. We'll finally get the Germans to loosen up and the Japanese to stop bowing to everyone like a republican with a wobbly backbone.

Yes , I read the link . I just don't regard the way they measure things these days is valid . Far less people would live in poverty without greed and decadence , and too many wealthy people keep enriching themselves at the expense of others .

We use a fiat currency and fractional reserve banking. The money supply is not a fixed pie.

In other words, how much money the wealthy have is not the issue. How much money the poor have, to include government handouts is the issue. That is why the abject poverty table is so key.

It certainly is the issue , when the money that enriched the wealthy has been taken from the people who become poverty stricken . The amount of handouts the corporate sector has had since 2008 is staggering , and even increased during 2020 ..... it's also common knowledge , yet few people even mention it .
