What Kind of Watch Do You Wear

I thought it would be intersting to see what sort of watches members wear or prefer.

Do you wear a smart watch, a battery powered quartz watch or do you prefer a mechanical watch.

I have quartz battery powered watches of different varieties, but my baby is a Steel and Gold Rolex Daytona with black face. I love the heft and the craftsmanship of a mechanical watch.

    Quartz vs. mechanical movements

Picking between aquartz watch and a mechanical watch is mainly dependent on your personal preference. In saying that, many factors should be considered when making this decision.
Let’s pit the two movements against each other and see which emerges victorious when we examine how they compare when looking at:
    • Accuracy
    • Reliability
    • Longevity
    • Maintenance
    • Price

Call your state legislators and insist they approve the Article V convention of States to propose amendments.

I pledge allegiance to the Constitution as written and understood by this nation's founders, and to the Republic it created, an indivisible union of sovereign States, with liberty and justice for all.

No jewelry. No watch. I lost my wedding ring on the honeymoon while snorkeling in the Caribbean and never replaced it. That was not a comfortable walk out of the water. I learned that "I never wanted to wear a ring" and how much of a bad man I am.

So take a second to really think about that thing. For under $100 you have on your wrist a computer more powerful than the ones that took man to the moon. They did not even envision those on the original Star Trek in the 1960's. We have only been really wearing watches since the early 1900s. Amazing things to come

I think alot of men feel that way. Rings especially can feel constraining. I do like to wear a watch though but the strap or bracelet is the key part.. It has to be comfortable.

That is a nice piece. Sleeker look than most Tag Heuers.

Haven't really worn a watch since I got a cell phone, that being said, my Dad willed me his exquisite Baume & Mercier gold automatic watch (actually sent it back to Switzerland for refurbishing, so it's literally like new), and when I do wear one, that's it...although I still have a killer Swiss Army watch, needs batteries though...

Dang that is nice. One thing about the high end mechanicals they last for generations if cared for. That is cool you have something like that from your dad.

I am hoping my son takes care of mine. He already has a history with it. He had meeting with CEO of Sherwin Williams ( long story for another day) and he wanted to wear the Rolex to that meeting. It is cool that watches can have a story.
