Supreme Court agrees to hear major gun rights case

BREAKING: Supreme Court agrees to hear major gun rights caseBYTHE WIZON
April 26, 2021The Supreme Court announced it will hear a major gun rights case. The case centers around New York’s strict restrictions on carrying firearms outside the home.Perhaps the single most important unresolved Second Amendment question after the Court’s landmark decisions in District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. City of Chicago, is whether the Second Amendment secures the individual right to bear arms for self-defense where confrontations often occur: outside the home. But appeals courts are still divided on how to properly resolve that question. The plaintiff’s in New York hope the Supreme Court will soon resolve that issue once and for all.

God Bless the SCOTUS and Donald Trump for getting the right people on the Court!

Lets pray they rule on side of freedom and not on the will of the Chinese Communist Party.

    From OP link:

The plaintiffs asked the Court to consider the broad question of “whether the Second Amendment allows the government to prohibit ordinary law-abiding citizens from carrying handguns outside the home for self-defense”

But in announcing their decision to hear the case, the justices wrote that they will only resolve a more narrow question: “whether the State’s denial of petitioners’ applications for concealed-carry licenses for self-defense violated the Second Amendment.”

Nevertheless, this narrower question is still broad enough to allow the Supreme Court to untangle a web of inconsistent and conflicting Second Amendment precedents. And perhaps most importantly, the case gives the high court another opportunity to restore the original meaning to the right to bear arms.
Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire. ― Gustav Mahler

The right people? Like Kavanaugh, who votes with the libs more often than not? Amy "crazy eyes" Coney Barrett, who also sides with the libs, and refused to stand up for the Constitution with regards to the 2020 election? Those "right people"?

It is comical to hear the disdain about the SCOTUS being packed as you rejoice it being packed by Don and Mitch.
Your prayers were misdirected as there is no chinese communist party involved in this issue.

I will also. The right to carry in public is similar here in Maryland and I don't like it one bit.
I can conceal carry in several states but not in the state I live in.
That sucks and I'd like to see it change.

Forgive me, if I do not feel all warm and fuzzy about this based on recent Supreme Court decisions. Especially from Roberts who is acting more compromised than Constitutionally.

Replacing members is not court packing. Please try to consider the meaning of phrases before you misuse them.

Appointing Supreme Court justices, via the constitutional process, to the traditional nine seat SCOTUS, is not "court packing". Are you seriously this uninformed?
