Lengthy read by an experienced writer about the dangers of equating pro constitution Americans to radicals or terrorists.

Its going to have the opposite effect of what the dems intend.

"The president [Trump] is a nationalist, which is not at all the same thing as a patriot. A nationalist encourages us to be our worst, and then tells us that we are the best. A nationalist, 'although endlessly brooding on power, victory, defeat, revenge,' wrote Orwell, tends to be 'uninterested in what happens in the real world.' Nationalism is relativist, since the only truth is the resentment we feel when we contemplate others. As the novelist Danilo Kiš put it, nationalism 'has no universal values, aesthetic or ethical.' A patriot, by contrast, wants the nation to live up to its ideals, which means asking us to be our best selves. A patriot must be concerned with the real world, which is the only place where his country can be loved and sustained. A patriot has universal values, standards by which he judges his nation, always wishing it well—and wishing that it would do better." Timothy Snyder 'On Tyranny'

Standard phony intellectual "everyone is equal" and don't judge rant as Internationalist communists have been promoting since early in the last century.....

Tell us Midcan why can't Communists live side by side with Capitalist and we see who is best?

Why is that so central to leftist internationalist politics that we all conform?

I think more people are just cautious. It is 4 years away. He will pass life expectency for a male in the USA.
I don't see a better option than Trump at this time but I am in no rush to see him crowned for the 2024 run

Trump is more dangerous now than when he was in office. Trump could be his own worst enemy. People love his politics, his vision for the country, his love of the country and especially his defense of the first and second amendments. But, personally he could turn a lot of people off. So Trump endorsing a candidate is could give a lot of people what they ultimately want. A Trump agenda led by someone who isn't Trump.

Hugh Hewitt dropped an OP ED in WAPO. Pointing out how the Demos got shutout on this one when they thought they actually had a chance, and that they are seriously worried now.

The democrats always do this. They overreach and get smacked down. They have taken the woke thing way too far and the people are sick of it.

Yeah but a lot of times the Demos will feign like something is worse for them than it really is. Then use someone like Hewitt as a Patsy.
