What really bothers me about this film idea as I have expressed before is how Hollywood is borrowing the works of others to political message. I certainly have no problem with Black Super Heroes or movies like Black Panther to appeal to a youth audience that enjoys these "Fantasy" films.

However Superman was created as a White appearing human male person (actually an extraterrestrial being so not Human at all) by DC Comic creators long dead. That artists creation should be respected just like Sherlock Homes sidekick should not be portrayed as an Asian Woman or the Baker Street Irregulars as a diverse bunch of Kids on the streets of London in the late 1800's.

If a Black Superhero is long awaited can't they come up with a new idea of their own?

And why is this portrayal not considered Cultural Appropriation by Progressive standards?

I'd imagine only a small subset of black people who like comic books give a $#@!. It's usually woke morons who push this stuff while not even having an interest in whatever hobby or field it will have an impact on.
