This is another plant you should be aware of, Wild Parsnip. Usually grows about 5' high on one stalk. It's been around the USA for many years, but it keeps getting more common. It likes roadside ditches, guard rails, powerline right-of-ways, along railroads, and similar areas, where it gets full sun, and where lawnmowers often spread the seeds around.
The reaction to the sap is more like a chemical burn than a rash. And nobody is immune. It's the same chemical as in Giant Hogweed, if you've heard of that. If you want to see the gross pictures of a reaction to it, search on "burned by wild parsnip". Some really bad reactions have been inflicted on people in shorts who were weed-whacking it. Learn to recognize and avoid it. maybe kill it, if it's on your property. Regular broadleaf weed killer works (a 2-4,d mix), as will glyphosate, though it will take several years for the seedbank to get exhausted.
