Starbucks and Target among major retailers keeping mask mandate in place......

Major retailers are hesitant about removing their mask mandate measures, despite the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention relaxing its COVID-19 protocols.

Walmart, Target, and Starbucks are among companies aiming to hold out on making changes until they review the updated guidelines that lift the mask mandate for fully vaccinated people.

Target will review the updated CDC guidelines while keeping its practice of masking and social distancing in place for customers and staff, according to a statement.

Trader Joe's will not require that fully vaccinated customers wear masks, according to its website.

Kroger and Home Depot will also keep mask mandates in place for employees and customers.

A spokesman for Dine Brands Company said IHOP and Applebee's will also keep their mask mandates in place while it reviews the updated guidelines by the CDC.

On Thursday, governors in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Virginia, as well as mayors in Washington, D.C., and New York City, which upheld some of the strictest lockdown measures during the pandemic, said they would take the CDC guidelines into consideration......snip~

You can't sue the government but you can sue a private business with very deep pocket.
My client got COVID at your store because you did not require masks and we swear he never went anywhere else in his entire life.

CA will issue new Mask guidelines in mid June because the Governor is trying to save his ass from Recall. But we don't know the details yet. He said we could lose Masks with "exceptions."

I'm glad I live in a small rural town. We aren't mask fanatics, at least, most of us.

I see no reason to keep up the "face covering required" signs, when those who want to wear masks, will continue doing so, even without the signs......and those who think it's been bull$#@! from the beginning, will continue as usual....maskless.

Here in ChIraq.....no change up. Wear your mask to enter damn near any business. Keep Social Distance. People still wearing masks driving in their cars alone. True leftists still wearing 2 masks. Still sanitize and wash your hands.

Pritzker says he has a bridge phase to take us to Phase 4. Mayor Beetlejuice still listening to her health person.

Have to get out past the suburbs to find businesses that told the Demos to f*** Off. There Bars are open, restaurants, no masks. Real people living life.

I had to go out and buy a printer. Stopped at Kroger and "mandatory masks" with less than half the people wearing them.
