AOC named most partisan Democrat in Congress:

What AOC is about, racism, denigrating white people, anti semetic and her squad is a racist anti american, anti semetic bunch of morons

Playing nice with others isn’t Queens Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ strong suit.

AOC was declared the least bipartisan Democrat in the House of Representatives, according to a new study.

The nonpartisan rankings are a joint project of The Lugar Center and Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy, and are drawn from official data on how often a representative co-sponsors legislation with members of the opposing party.

Ocasio-Cortez ranked 427 out of 437 members of the House with a bipartisanship score well below the average that researchers established over a 28-year period. The 10 House members rated lower than AOC were all Republicans.

This would be the biggest takeaway for me.

…and none have been put up by someone else to push an evil agenda to destroy our system.

    'Sup?

I'm doing a lot better than when our paths last crossed. This last year was pretty bad for me. I lost my mom and my teaching job (the latter to Covid, of course), among other things. But things have changed for the better lately. I'm vaccinated now, I got a girlfriend a couple months ago who's bringing all kinds of replenishing joy into my life, and it looks like I may even be able to get my old job back this coming fall! (And I won't mention the additional simple benefits to having a different president now for my psyche.) So I mean I still struggle with depressive tendencies, but they're way more under control these days. Hope you're doing well too!

I've returned here more of late and probably will continue to because honestly the progressive spaces I normally have inhabited have become insufferably hostile toward me of late, especially in like recent months. An electoral victory seems to turn many people into arrogant $#@!s who can brook no, NO dissent from The Line. While conversely I disagree with you conservative types more often, like most of the time, these days I find conservatives, having had a much-needed dose of humble pie forced down their throats of late, have become more tolerant. I don't agree with people here very much, but it's now more livable here than most of the places I used to frequent save for a few niches. You're not going to ban me or threaten my life.

As to my take on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez...well I am still a democratic socialist after all, so I mean almost by that simple definition she's not my least favorite Congressperson. At the same time though, a lot of my opinions have moderated over time, including of late, I've found. I've counted myself a socialist ever since I started developing political opinions back in high school, but I used to regard myself as a Maoist and now I'm a democratic socialist. Likewise, from mid-decade, I used to count myself an anarchist, but these days I'm against abolishing the police or even cutting their funding. I favor serious, substantive reforms to our policing and criminal justice systems that probably do require completely rebuilding many police departments from the ground up, adding much more federal support for social workers to step into many non-violent situations that police officers are currently expected to handle, and imposing more rigid demographic quotas on jury pools, for example, but I've found that so-called restorative justice principles do more harm than good, particularly to rape survivors, and that experiments in training a given general population in police work so you don't need distinct policing institutions don't seem to succeed very well. And while I remain firmly planted as a feminist, I no longer think of womanhood as simply a state of mind. Critical race theory is bull$#@!. $#@! theory is bull$#@!. These are the areas where I get in trouble on the progressive boards nowadays, so I think it's just that I ain't woke enough for them anymore in part, with the other part being their shrinking threshold of tolerance for independent thinking, which is apparently all hate speech today and probably also a form of "genocide" for good measure, you know? AOC's social views are left of mine. Her economic views are right of mine, as are those of all members of Congress. *shrugs* Overall, I still like her better than most other members of Congress. I like that she's just someone from a normal, working class background. She's a lot more honest than most other politicians, I find, as a result. A little woke for me these days, but still.

I'd guesstimate you could describe my worldview as far to the left on economic policy, but more complicated and like center-left when it comes to my cultural opinions. There's no party or organized faction in existence that aligns especially close to my way of thinking these days.

My personal least favorite member of Congress right now is Matt Gaetz. You know, the pro-Trump pedophile sex trafficker? That's pretty much the worst kind of person in existence, in my opinion. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lindsay Graham are both right up there too though, and Steve King's always in the running. Joe Manchin would be my least favorite Democrat in the Congress right now. At the state level, I regard South Carolina Democratic Congressman Cezar McKnight as particularly brave for his stand against medicalizing gender identity in children, for which he was skewered by the rest of his party. I'll be keeping an eye on his political career.

Can you name a single Republican judged more partisan that has had a fraction of the media attention as AOC? Has attacked party leadership and a party President if they don't get their way?

Has made such an ass of themselves in public period?

Please tell us if this is the new face of the Democrat Party or not?

Also rating low in bipartisanship were AOC’s “Squad” mates. Coming in at 426th was Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, and in 424th place was Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar. Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib scored 414th.

    No surprise there.

So is this the Future of the Democrat Party as some in the left media suggested?

No wonder I’m a fan! Cons deserve nothing after supporting a bigot like trump. Very cool.

Her time in congress is limited. They don;t like her and she doesn't have the brains or the drive to be anything other than a social media diva.
