Are you serious? The only thing that matters to a communist thieving SOB left winger is intent. Outcome has not meaning except to require even more lop sided rules and regulations

The whole point of SAT scoring was not to punish or exclude anybody.

The simple fact is that Universities have a limited number of slots and the investment is massive. So the system of academic scoring was set up to make sure those who got "in" were far more likely to complete and make good use of a college education and a degree if they earned it.

What we will see in the future is even more remedial classes for those who were pushed through the failed public High School system and more drops outs! Then pressure for grade inflation and worthless social science degrees so idiot left activists can call themselves "Doctor."

The entire cycle of fail continues and the price we all pay will be a high one.

So how do they chose the best and the brightest? How long Daddy has been a communist infiltrator? Seriously, if grades no longer matter just what criteria do they use?

The number of GRE study guides I have is obscene and this all also represents a barrier for students who do not have the ability to get the materials or pay for multiple retakes (which is common). ETS, the company that is responsible for the GRE, sees about $1 billion per year because each test is $190. As with the SAT/ACT, research has shown how the GRE correlates to GPA and to performance in graduate school, and GPA is fine on its own as a predictor of success. Subject tests show some value, though, which is also why the LSAT and MCAT are going to likely stick around as the GRE gets dropped.

So SAT's are a money making "racket" but our very expensive University system and all those protected tenured professors, overpaid administrators, and academic frauds are not doing the same thing?

They use other holistic criteria, GPA, etc. But holistic should include test scores. The lawsuits in CA are because of CRT systemic racism, something that's assumed but can't be found or demonstrated.

Recall they tried to destroy the SAT system not long ago with adjusted "Social" factor scoring. Claiming poverty plus favored minority status would give your extra points. There was enough blowback at the time to prevent this from happening.

So now they just get rid of SAT altogether!
And a majority of those who benefited from this never finished, but still had to pay off the tuition.

    It is a debt trap.
