    Check to see if you are using the latest version of chrome. They update chrome about every week or so. No joke. Lol. I don't use it , but I often update it in my app update notifications cause it's there.

    After clearing the cache the problem resolved itself, apparently.

    No issues here. Though I don't PM much. I use Chrome and never clear cache, that must be a M$ Edge problem.

    I run the Custom Clean first so it cleans the internet cache of all the installed browsers.
    Then I run the Registry scanner and let it clean everything it finds.
    It takes out all remnants from removed programs etc.
    Never ever once has it messed up my computer(s) and it has solved many a similar issue you had.
