That's what I was taught as a child.
If you weren't Christian Reformed you didn't believe what you were supposed to believe.
    And you weren't saved either.
    Kinda sad really.

    Principal Goldsmith? Hmm....
Whoever criticizes capitalism, while approving immigration, whose working class is its first victim, had better shut up. Whoever criticizes immigration, while remaining silent about capitalism, should do the same.

I agree most of those who call themselves Christians have no real beliefs. Christianity, to many is a culture club.

Question is which Christians have the right to tell other Christians they have the wrong beliefs.
Funny how they turn on each other.

I was reading a biography of Michael Faraday earlier today. In England Christian churches were almost all splinters. That is the way it should be.

The splintering extended into American Christian churches as well.

I suppose so. Do we still hang Quakers?

Was the speaker giving a speech that recognizes her accomplishments? Then it is her speech.

If the school wants her to read their prepared speech then they should write it.

I will bet that she could have put Allahu Akbar in the speech and they would have pasted a gold star on it.
