Too bad the personal blogs didn't transfer over when tPF changed servers. I had lots of travel pics there.

I think I remember looking at some of them before. I also remember you posting some of your hikes, and a waterfall. Here is another from me from a recent hike. That rock kinda looks like a panther to me.

I used to take a lot of walks in the woods because, that's where my other house is, we've spotted black bears and Mountain lions. The area is a mixture of thick woods, green meadows and, soaring red rock cliffs. There's a lake.

Deer, elk, turkey, coyotes are all abundant because there's no hunting allowed on that privately owned property.

I have pictures but, they're just that, pictures, I don't have any on my phone.....I maybe have some taken a few years ago during the winter, I'd have to look.

This is from years ago. I'm in the back just in front of the guide, my wife is in front of me. I'm pretty sure we were on the New River in West Virginia. The heavy gal in front of my wife ended up falling out on some heavier rapids, but was okay.

That sounds amazing. I think I seen a bob cat some weeks ago while traipsing in the woods. It was about the size of a house cat, but he was much fluffier and had pointed ears. I have thousands upon thousands of pictures of my walks in the woods, but not a single one of the kittty that day. Lol.

I have found that when I go on my walks alone in the woods, that animals tend to be more friendly. All of my best moments with the animals have been when I was alone. Now I'm not so sure that I would want to get friendly with a bear or mountain lion. Lol.

Now that's a real adventure, very awesome!! I have never done anything like that. My adventures are just wandering in the woods. : )

I did the New River when I was in the Army JAG School. A bunch of us went down for a weekend. Big fun!
