I was trying to determine that myself! When I first looked at her I did say to myself...."Medicine hat"? I'm thinking, she'd probably have to have more color in the forlock area, like she has on a little cap.
I'm not considered an expert but, I have studied horse colors and patterns for years, did I see a little black coloring on her lower legs, fetlock areas? I can't tell if it's mud or, black markings......but still, her body and legs being white, would not make her an Overo.......and the markings look Sorrel not Bay.
She sure is a long legged little beauty!

Oh boy, yes, she is all legs! We've had a lot of rain so that could be mud. LOL Right now, my daughter is trying to keep sunscreen on her -- I guess her light coloring makes her more susceptible to burning.
I totally trust your definition -- it makes sense to me. I sent my kid a text and told her. Too bad I mis-labeled this thread but at least know I know what she is.
I can't wait to see her again! Babies are so fun!

Hey, don't go getting your daughter all upset over this, I didn't mean to start anything.
Horse color is tricky, even experts can be stumped because what should be, what they know should be, sometimes isn't fitting with what they know should be.......does that make sense?
My farrier is an expert, he's studied horse color genetics and breeds horses and even he said there's this one case, every so often, that just doesn't fit the standard......he knows the new foal is a certain color but, there's this one little thing that just doesn't fit.
So, what I'm saying about your little girl, is based on what I'm seeing in front of me......maybe she just doesn't fit the norm, the text book definition.
I don't want your daughter to think I'm a meddling old lady! LOL
I had a Bay Paint years ago, we had to have him put down at the age of 37, because of crippling arthritis that medication would no long help.
