Sadly, USA 2021 is becoming more Totalitarian then USSR ever was.
Progressives are Passionate about establishing Totalitarian Tyranny.
Conservatives are Apathetic about maintaining a Free Society.

From what you've written on this forum, it's apparent that your picture of life and the state of freedom in this country is largely the product of your own imagination - nourished, one has to believe, by all the silly talk about Americans being "slaves". As for your comparative ranking of the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. in terms of being "Totalitarian", get back to us when individuals and entire families are imprisoned or made to vanish in the middle of the night because they were deemed to be disloyal to the State, or because they owned or sold a banned book. Your pronouncements have never made a lot of sense, CC, but lately your grip on the real world, including history and current events, appears to be looser than ever.
