Anyone understand French ? Stocking up my treasure chest w/some of these.

I am going to get some of these for my treasure chest and asked the seller if they are made of some kind of metal, or plastic.
If plastic, then never mind. I need them to have some heft to them.

    https://www.etsy.com/listing/1024720...aid=5e0a936f07

    This was his reply...

Bonjour, ce sont des pièces en alliage de métal qui ont du poids,
Les pièces pèse environ 10g chacune.
Elle ne font vraiment pas pièce en plastique comme les jouet pour enfants.

What I can make out is...

Hello...something something METAL...please the enviornment.....10 grams of ?...variant plastic for children

Any help would be nice...merci, bou coup.

    **************************************

Evidently, they are some kind of Harry Potter magical coins that are only spent and used in the magical realm.
The Bank of Gringotts issued them.

They look pretty cool, and i hope they are made of metal with a bit of heft to them. Kinda useless when a large coin in the hand feels as light as a feather. That's not cool at all.

See what happens when men are without female supervision for three weeks.

I even bought an Aztec DEATH WHISTLE. It is loud and sounds like a whole group of people are dying a painful death and screaming out.

I will wait till she is home and in the laundry room.....

Or would that make me a bad person ?

"Hello, these are metal alloy coins that weigh about 10 grams each. They really don't make coins in plastic, like children's toys."

FYI 10 grams would be slightly less than twice the weight of a quarter. A quarter weighs a little over 5 grams.

I used a translator and got the following:

Hello, these are pieces enalliagede metal that have weight. The pieces weight about 10 chaune. They really don't make a lot of.

And that's where it ends. Hope this helps.

    You know I luvz ya,...right ?

This...and many other reasons is why.

I will order two bags of 60 coins each.

The Home Store or Hobby Lobby should have the treasure chest i need.

I just need to wait till everything i ordered gets here, then look at the volume to get the right size.

I also ordered 6 pounds of foreign coins.

Liz gave me a whole bunch of her costume jewelry

...and of course, I have those shiny BITCOINS too.

I have one now that is kinda big that I keep my reloading brass in.

    ***********************************

When i have it all set up I will show everyone the pics.

If there is a coin you particularly like, @Dr. Who...let me know and I will send it to you.

In Google Translate (my go-to translator), I got:

Hello, these are metal alloy parts that have weight, The pieces weigh approximately 10g each. They really don't make plastic parts like children's toys.

I gotta figure out how to use that "translate" thing.

When my granddaughter was here, she had an app on her phone that would translate ANYTHING...I mean ANYTHING. You just snapped a pic of it, and poof.

    Did not matter what language.

    Weird...just too weird for me.

I have a small box of foreign coins that I picked up in the Navy, plus some that I collected while traveling with the family when I was a kid and others that I inherited from various family members. I've thought for a long time that a cool thing to do would be to get one of those small tables with a glass top and a drawer underneath the glass that you can put things in for display. I've also got newspapers from France, England and Hong Kong that I would put in first, then toss in all the coins and maybe some other small identifiably foreign souvenirs.

I just recalled that I have a lot of foreign paper currency that my father collected, some of the bills pretty old. Those would go into the display, as well.
