Listen to the words of the song. They're talking/singing about "converting" people to being tolerant, understanding and mature people. If you don't get that, you may be one of the folks they're singing about.

It's obviously satire, but it was really poorly done. Stupid people will take this seriously.

It's not satire, other than during the first few seconds where they pretend that they are going to convert people to homosexuality, then they basically drop the joke and go on to sing about tolerance.

I'm fully aware that I'm the target audience. I'm also fully aware they picked the absolutely worst way possible to go about it. Any progress done by well intended LGBT's in the past has been largely undone by fantastic creeper vibes in the video.
Were I a member of the LGBT crowd I would condemn and distance myself from this as early as possible, as loud as possible.
