Even though he has played for my beloved 49ers I have never liked this guy. I see him as a pompous ass and an attention $#@! or in ESPN speak a marketing genious.
However, I think his wife may be right. I have never heard of him being in legal trouble and he is an intellegent man.

I hope that he finds his way and gets part this,. Entertainers are people too. There ios also a strong possibility that the charges will be dropped due to the dog's obvious racism

The problem with many highly successful professional athletes is that they have been pampered their entire life. They have not had to face the same challenges most people face. Whatever their needs may be, there’s someone there to take care of their problems for them.

They don’t develop the same life skills or coping skills as those who need to work for a living. When faced with serious problems, they react almost in the way a child would respond.

I have a son in law who is a professional athlete. He’s very successful in his field. He attended college on a scholarship. He did finish college, but immediately went pro in his field. He has no professional work experience outside of his field of completion.

Having a serious conversation with him is like talking to a 16 year old. There is absolutely no level of adult maturity in him.

Sherman was released from jail today. No bail. Several conditions though.

So that's what they meant by no bail.

One of my kids got a DUI after blowing exactly the limit and he got $1500 bail with no previous record.

    Imagine that. Equal justice?

Originally he was held with no bail as is the case with everyone who’s facing a DV charge in king county.

In court he was released without having to post bail. This is not inappropriate. He’s not going anywhere. Bail isn’t required for him to ensure he doesn’t flee the jurisdiction.

Judge Orders NFL's Richard Sherman Released Without Bail, Calling Him ‘Pillar of the Community'

King County District Court Judge Fa’amomoi Masaniai found probable cause that Sherman committed criminal trespassing, malicious mischief, driving under the influence and resisting arrest. Prosecutors did not ask the judge for a finding on a felony residential burglary allegation for which he was initially booked. They have not yet filed charges.

Masaniai declined to set $10,000 bail as prosecutors requested. The judge called Sherman, who did not attend the hearing, a “pillar of the community”...

Sherman has done a lot of good things with youth programs in the Seattle area. He has earned some good will.

His charges were all dropped to misdemeanors. I don’t really have a big problem with that.
