Capital. Then we are told she will allow Rep to nominate members for it...gonna be a bi-partisan comm. Now we are told Pelosi will not "allow" 2 of the House members the Rep chose to sit on it. In simple terms...Pelosi...will "allow" Rep to be on a committee but she will pick who those are. Our Representative government is sure going down hill fast, under Biden's term.

Republicans negotiated and agreed upon a non-partisan 911 style commission, with equal representation, and equal power. Then they voted against it.

The two rejections seem reasonable.

Jim Banks has made it clear that he does not take the committee seriously, wanting to derail the focus from 1-6 to the summer riots. He claims the real purpose of the committee is to "malign conservatives." Pelosi considered this to be disqualifying.

Jim Jordan shouldn't be on the committee because he may be a material witness. Among the pationate speaking engagements Jim Jordan did prior to the capitol riot asserting the impossibility of a Biden win, Politico reported (on Dec 21) that Jordan attended a 3 hour meeting with Trump at the White to discuss "planning and strategy" for January 6th.


Trump loyalists are planning a last stand Jan. 6.

McCarthy pulls all GOP lawmakers from riot panel

The special committee created to investigate the Jan. 6 riot won’t include Republican appointees, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said Wednesday.


The California Republican announced the decision moments after Speaker Nancy Pelosi blocked two of the five GOP appointees from participating.


“Unless Speaker Pelosi reverses course and seats all five Republican nominees, Republicans will not be party to their sham process and will instead pursue our own investigation of the facts,” McCarthy said.


The legislation creating the panel included a provision allowing Pelosi to block GOP appointees.....snip~

Pelosi thinks she can use the Media to cover over their one sided sham. Still McCarthy should have done this from the beginning. Also he should know going forward to read every lil word the Deviates put into any bill or legislation.


Failure to do so falls on him and then he can be removed as Minority Leader.
