They must have executed some people for this.

They always pretend they do that, when the solution needs a scapegoat.

Floods are always scary but talk about poor municipal drainage planning.

That tunnel was a death trap.

Authorities destroy river dikes amid floods; Missing husband found dead: flooded Chinese subway

Chinese authorities send excavators to destroy a river bank in Henan province. But when locals tried to stop them, they got doused by pepper spray and had their cars smashed. Civilian rescue teams are taking matters into their own hands. They say authorities failed to provide enough disaster aid. Residents lay flowers at the entrance of a flooded subway station in China’s Henan province. Authorities set up barricades there—attracting online criticism. Beijing cracks down on private companies, sending shockwaves through stock markets, and sparking fear among American traders. And Hong Kong moves one step closer to Communist China. The first person charged under the city’s national security law has been found guilty of terrorism and inciting secession. That’s over actions related to Hong Kong’s pro-democracy movement.

15-year-old survivor: horrors of a flooded subway; Red cross accused of embezzling donations

A 15-year-old survivor is opening up after escaping a flooded subway in China. She says dozens of people died in front of her while trapped inside—and even more remains were seen lying on the subway platform afterward. Flooded subway cars in Zhengzhou city are taken away, with black cloth covering the windows. Netizens are questioning what the authorities are hiding. New evidence has emerged surrounding China’s flood disasters. A video online shows Chinese authorities clashing with locals, who say the troops came to destroy local river embankments. China’s Red Cross faces a serious accusation. A businessman says the organization embezzled thousands in donation funding. American investors are rushing to divest from Chinese companies in the health sector, as fears rise that Beijing’s crackdown on private companies will hit the medical industry next.

Man attacked for filming subway mourners; US bill bans maps showing Taiwan as part of China

A man in China’s Zhengzhou city was brutally attacked by what appear to be plainclothes police officers as the man captures a video of mourners gathering to pay respects after the city’s subway #FloodDisaster. Heavy rain and bad management aren’t the only reasons behind the subway tunnel flood. An expert warned about another risk years ago, but the concern wasn’t taken seriously. Authorities in one of China’s flood-hit cities turned the area’s electricity back on without warning. As a result, volunteers suffer severe electrical shocks while rescuing people from the floods. A Taliban delegation is now visiting China and meeting with top officials there. The United States hardens its stance toward Beijing. The House passes a motion involving maps that show Taiwan as part of China.

Reggie Littlejohn was a litigation attorney in the 90s and got to learn about the CCP’s brutal forced abortion methods when she helped a Chinese client to apply for refugee. Later she became a human rights advocate and helped many Chinese victims and dissidents through her organization: Women’s Rights without Frontiers. In this amazing interview, Reggie shared about her work to expose the cruelty behind CCP’s One-Child policy, her efforts to save the blind Chinese activist Chen Guang-cheng, her transforming experience working for Mother Teresa and some of the most rewarding moments during her years helping free the Chinese people.

China’s largest desert flooded by heavy rain; Delta strain spreads, Chinese cities shut down

Heavy rains and melting snow soak China’s largest desert. The flooding drenched over 100 square miles. A video showing positive relations between Chinese citizens and the military is raising eyebrows. One item seen in the clip seems to reveal a different narrative than the video supports. A Canadian citizen has been detained in China on suspicion of rape. He’s been identified as a Chinese-born pop singer. Surveys reveal that the world view on Beijing seems to be changing—and not in favor of the communist regime. Now, millions have signed a petition aimed at ending China’s Communist Party.
