    North Carolina man charged with "ethnic intimidation"

    For putting "I heart being white" stickers on cars and bathrooms. He should have been charged with vandalism. "Ethnic intimidation" is one of the dumbest charges I have heard of and goes against the first amendment.

    Wouldn't a vandalism charge have done the same thing? After all he did not know who the cars belonged to.
    Now they would have to prove what he was thinking, which they can't.

    Vandalism would of course be a higher charge, but "intimidation" as a crime could amount to looking at someone funny.
