    The Ontos was one of those weapon systems that was not the greatest design but Grunts would love to have backing them up in a fight. I didn't have a direct contact with them. They went out of service before I went into service, but I did have contact with these.





    I know how effective and versatile the 106mm recoilless rifle could be, so the idea of having 6 of them in support, all on one highly mobile platform that could put 6 rounds on target all at once kind of gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling.

    That was a problem for the German's in WWII.

    They had bigger and stronger Tanks, but they burned fuel like a $#@!! And why we often targeted fuel depots.
